Dr. Kandice Kissoondath

Chiropractor

Dr. Kandice’s journey into chiropractic started in her University co-op rotation when she worked as a Chiropractor Assistant in a multi-disciplinary office. Seeing people get better through the use of manual therapy and education inspired her to pursue a career as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

She underwent four years of training in relation to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological, muscle and joint conditions. Throughout her studies and career, Dr. Kandice developed a passion for sports and movement; she was always actively involved in basketball and weight training. She continues to pursue educational courses that provide her with strategies for specific assessment and treatment, with a focus on whole body function and wellness.

Her incorporation of a patient-centred model of care and multimodal treatment approach allows for individualized and effective treatment plans that look to long-term solutions. She enjoys educating and implementing strategies to help everyone, young children to seniors, achieve their health goals.

Dr. Kandice’s toolbox includes multiple techniques such as manual therapy, diversified adjustments, Neurofunctional acupuncture, cupping therapy, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy and movement based rehabilitation. So whether you’re dealing with neck pain, back pain, knee pain or any other area of complaint, Dr. Kandice has the experience and array of tools to help you move and feel better.

When she’s not in the office,  you can find her cheering on the Toronto Raptors, working out, exploring outdoors, or making baked goods! She’s looking forward to healing the community with skill and laughter.

Dr. Kandice holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, and her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
