Dr. Cindy Lewis started with MiltonBackDoc in August of 2018.  Dr. Lewis is a Canadian trained Chiropractor fully registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and a member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations.  She is also certified in Functional Integrated Acupuncture and is a Personal Trainer.    Dr. Lewis has been practicing as a Chiropractor since 2007, initially in midtown Toronto.  After starting a family and moving her home west, she has begun practicing in Milton.

As a Chiropractor, Dr. Lewis treats conditions throughout the musculoskeletal system, including issues related to knee’s, hips, ankles, shoulders, elbows, and spine just to name a few. Her personal experience as an elite/professional triathlete and runner has lead to a special interest in sports medicine and the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.  She has experience providing injury treatment and ongoing performance care to athletes with many sport backgrounds.

Dr. Lewis has been a guest speaker for the Canadian Fitness Professionals annual trade show and conference’s in Whistler and Toronto as well as a regular guest speaker for the Running Room.  She has been a contributor to Breathe Magazine, Can Fit Pro Magazines, and newsletters for Multisport Canada, Toronto Women’s Running Series and Marathon Dynamics.  She has also been featured on TV shows including The Art of Building Bodies and Breakfast Television.

Dr. Lewis is available for regular appointment times from 1pm until 8pm on Mondays, 7am until 2pm on Wednesdays and 12pm until 8pm on Thursdays.  Saturday availability is by appointment only.


Dr. Lewis graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2007.  Prior to this she completed an honours undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.  She maintains certification as a Personal Trainer from Can Fit Pro and a Multisport Coaching certification from the National Coaching Certification Program in Canada.
