Kids In Triathlon Series – Milton

Ever wonder what it's like to do a triathlon? With all the excitement around getting moving and it being awesome for your health, what about getting your kids to try it? Well, KITCAN stands for Kids In Triathlon, and the organization is running its first official series, and one of the events is in Milton! It is this coming weekend, on Saturday June 30th at the Milton Sports Centre.

This triathlon Series is a result of a partnership between Triathlon Canada, Triathlon Ontario and Tri-FUN Kids’ Triathlons.  The Series is presented by GOTRI.cathe “#1 Resource for Triathlon”. If you have any questions about triathlon, where to find races, clubs, coaches or basic information about the sport,!

Triathlon Ontario is a non-profit organization and the governing body of the sport in the province, whose mission is to grow and develop the sport in a fun, safe and fair way.

At the event this weekend, there are 4 age categories for kids: 10-11, 8-9, 6-7 and even an age category for 3-5 year olds! Each leg of the race has different distances for each age category, and every participant gets a t-shirt and a participation medal!

There will also be a Family FUN Zone set up with all sorts of unique, interactive activities,  and MiltonBackDoc will be there!  We will have a tent set up, free chair massage available, and a draw to win a free massage, or a one-hour cycling or run specific training session with Dr. Cindy Lewis!

We hope to see you at this super-cool, fun event!
